How To Make Your Own Toxic Waste Spill

To build the do it yourself toxic waste spill you will need:

• 5-7 Metal drums
• 1 Can of fluorescent orange spray paint
• 1 Fog machine
• 1 Black light
  
• 1 Cardboard box
  
• Knife
  
• Duct tape

Estimated time: 2 hours

The Scene:
As the people come around the corner, they see stacks of toxic waste barrels piled up with one of them tipped over and broken open. A toxic victim falls on the floor coughing and screaming for them to turn back. "Go back! Go back before it's too late! It's poisonous." The fog machine engulfs them in fog as they flee to the next scene.

Directions:
Cut your box so that you have a flat piece of cardboard. Trace out the word TOXIC, and cut the letters out. Use the as a stencil to paint your barrels.





Similarly, trace and cut out the radiation symbol.





Now you can use the duct tape to hold your stencil to the barrels while you paint them.

The finished product will look like this:



Tip over one of the barrels so it looks the there is a toxic waste spill. Put the fog machine in the barrel. You may also want to put up caution tape, flashing warning lights etc.



Your toxic victim can wear whatever he wants. What I have is guy in a white shirt with fluorescent paint splatters, fluorescent shorts, and a creepy mask.
