To build the do it yourself dungeon you will need:
- An awesome set of metal stairs (regretfully, not everyone has one)
- 1 Faux Fire
- Several large fish nets or equivalent
- Chains, neck shackles, ball and chain, etc.
- Rats, bones, etc.
- Fog machine
The Scene:
As they enter the haunted house, the guide tells the guests that the first stop is the dungeon. The glow of flames can be seen flickering up through the metal stairs, and fog swirls around their feet as they descend into the dungeon. Below, clanking can be heard as someone bangs a metal rod on various objects, including the stairs themselves. Because of the unique lighting effect, no one can see what is at the bottom until it is too late. They've already been trapped...
Directions:
Hang fish nets from the ceiling/stairs. Place the Faux Fire at the bottom and a fog machine at the top. Hang various chains and shackles from the walls. Litter the floor with bones and rats.
